January 1, 1983 issue of Play Meter Magazine.  "Critic's Corner" reviews Williams' VARKON pinball, Stern's POOYAN video game & Midway's SATAN'S HOLLOW video game; new products include Glak's PORTMAN video game, Taito's JUNGLE HUNT video game, Data East's BURGERTIME video game & Stern's DARK PLANET video game.  There are flyers and trade ads for Atari's MILLIPEDE, LIBERATOR & POLE POSITION video games (inside front cover), ATW's NEW SINBAD 7 video game, Sega's SUPER ZAXXON video game, Exidy's WHIRLY BUCKET arcade game, Sega's MONSTER BASH video game, Sega's BUCK ROGERS video game, Atari's FAST FREDDIE video game (inside back cover) & Sega's PENGO video game (back cover).  This is the annual Directory Issue, which includes an index to all of the articles and features which appeared in Play Meter in the preceeding year along with the cover date and page number.  This magazine is in good condition, although there is a small portion cut out of the cover which can be seen in the photo.
